So what does this mean cap wise for them? Do they have enough for Dragic?

    Two things.

    1. I cannot for the life of me believe Beasley would be worth 6mil/yr on the market.
    2. The Suns obviously do not subscribe to the idea that unless you are a contender, you should tank. If they sign Gordon, that would be a mediocre playoff team for years.

    A starting lineup of:
    PG Gogi
    SG E. Gordon
    SF Beasley
    PF No Idea
    C Gortat

    Not too bad.

He would have benefitted from playing with Nash. Oh well.

By my calculation, they'd have to choose between Dragic and Gordon unless they amnesty one of their players.

Specifically, with Gordon's salary ($13.5M) and Beasley's salary ($5.74M) added, the Suns now have $4.95M in cap room if they waive the partially guaranteed contract of Telfair ($4.4 M in cap room in they don't waive him). They can increase that number by amnestying either Warrick ($4M) or Childress ($6.4M).

Their owner is the Drayton Mclane of the NBA. He want name players so he can get butts in the seats. Thats why they didn't want to trade Nash for the last 2years. But Beasley might turn into a monster. I was really hoping Morey would give him a shot.

Are you angry he let a 6'9 guy slip through our fingers, thereby preventing us from cornering the market?

If you would rather watch the Suns instead of the Rockets because of Michael Beasley, you're an idiot. I've watched plenty of him. He's an overrated chucker who every now and then has an insane game ( and one of those was against Houston this year, which is why Rockets fans overrate him so much) and just goes back to firing long twos and not playing defense or rebounding or anyof those things.

Beasley has so much potential. A shame it will probably never be fully reached. Has the ability to be an absolute beast.
