I don't think he wants him anymore now that we have Harden.

On one hand Ricky Rubio seems to really suck.

On the other, Rajon Rondo has a championship and was regarded as an all-star point guard.

    I don't know.

    Conclusion: Minnesota really blows.

I don't know how someone can play professional basketball so long and not improve their shot? You'd have to think he would have spent thousands of hours on it by now. What gives?

I guess same reason why someone can play professional basketball for so long and not improve their FT shooting.

I guess the difference to me is big men kind of get a pass for being sucky shooters. Even the best passing point guards of all time like Kidd never got a pass for being a bad shooter.

There seems to be more at stake for Rubio.

I'm not saying you take out rubio and then put a shooter who does nothing else, obv thats just dumb. But if you get a player who can shoot and create for others and not bad at D what then? PG is the deepest position in the NBA, you can get a lot of guys who are average at least in defense, passing and shooting almost every team in the NBA has a starter quality pg in the team.

Rubio's lack of shooting makes everything harder for everyone, its the opposite of commanding a double team since teams actually leave him alone with the ball and double somebody else because they want him to take all the shots. Defense is all about motivation, Rox also had bev and Ariza last year but the Rox sucked balls at D in fact their first 3 games they got destroyed by 20 pts including to a lottery team like the Nets. If Minny can become an offensive force everyone will start playing better D just look at Harden this year

He should pull a Rondo, and focus on defense and passing. If he can't score, then he can't score - but while you still have a job in the NBA, utilize your strengths.

The NBA game has changed with analytics. If Rondo's prime was now, he would probably never have been an all-star.
