tip should increase with the tab because the waiters are taxed on their sales. I agree with everything Kelly said, I was a waiter.
Exactly...Total BS...Also, when restaurants are in good times, there needs to be some type of incentive for the staff, IMHO... Jeff, ask and you shall recieve, although, I would ask for my money back...

Horrible. But I don't think anyone should be so lucky. This goes way past the should-and-shouldn't be's but it'da been cool if there was ANY merit for it at all. REallly at THE VERY least have it be towards a round tush and nice rack. Being a regular there for years I'm sure there were other people who served him just as deserving going off of 'excellent serving skills'. It's what it is, some guy giving his money away to some chick so she can buy a jeep cuz he'd 'want' that and her dad can suffer away. It goes without saying but if this guy was so thoughtful i'm sure he could have thought of plenty other matters to make his large dontation out to. Makes me sick, what a waste.
