If there is an Art of Shaving where you are, they do the shaves. It's amazing. It will be incredibly close, your face will feel great afterward, and smell nice as well. They do the whole hot towel, straight razor, and shave first with the grain, then against the grain. They will try and sell you product afterwards, but it's not a hard sell. I didn't buy the product after my shave, but now I use it regularly. It was the main reason I switched to using a straight razor.
I was just looking up some other options to shaving instead of these damn mach3's etc. Thinking about getting a double edge safety razor instead of straight. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Merkur-HD-34C-Chrome-Plated/dp/B001LYAQ9E/ref=cm_lmf_tit_2 It's so much cheaper to buy blades and i hear its a damn close shave.
I second this. I visited one while I was in Vegas and had my whole head shaved. It was awesome. Unfortunately, the closest one to me now is 3 hours away in St. Louis.
