Don't see how this Is a "rip" on Lin. He did have a bad game vs the Heat.

This is old news, it was an analogy after the heat game. Lin is still Obama's boy.

His anti energy policies can be directly correlated to rising energy costs. Unemployment has been stagnant thanks again to his flawed belief system that small business owners are the enemy not the solution. Health costs have nearly doubled, thanks again to his amazing new health care law. Housing won't rise until the economy and unemployment is fixed. I dare you to come up with one positive thing that attributable to Obama.

I dont think any NBA Player was worshiped as much as Jeremy Lin in 10 meaningless regular season games

You cant have it both ways, you cant say that Lin is being unfairly treated, and then not get mad when people bring up the end of Linsanity. The worse part about this is many people non-black or white, refer to the Miami game as the end of Linsanity. SMH

Lin is still a DAMN good player, but he was basically playing at an INSANE level those 8-10 games.

    The Knicks finished 5 games ahead, with a 36-30 record (.545 winning %), of 9th place Milwaukee in 2011-2012 (.470 winning %).

Linsanity lasted from February 4 (against the Nets) through February 22 (just before playing Miami, which is the agreed upon end of Linsanity). In those 10 games, the Knicks had an 8-2 record. If you strike those 10 Linsanity-driven games from the Knicks' record last season, they have a record of 28-28 (.500 winning %).

That puts the Knicks in 8th place playing a Roseless Bulls team, and Phili in 7th place playing the eventual Miami Heat. The Knicks would have likely moved on to the 2nd round and America's new favorite underdog would have likely been eliminated in the 1st round.

Of course it isn't quite as simple as I've put it here. But Lin did play in the 10 games that turned the Knicks from out of the playoffs to being pretty much locked in by the last week or so of the regular season.

So those "meaningless" Linsanity games did actually mean something (1 'better' seeding in the playoffs). They meant a first round exit against the Heat instead of likely advancing to the 2nd round. His success actually hurt the Knicks. ;)

Let's not forget that Linsanity hurt the Rockets too. I'm positive that if Linsanity didn't happen when it did the Knicks would have missed the playoffs entirely. They would have been in a massive hole and I can easily see that team just giving up.

    Mad chickens.

This thread is proof that people are willing to overlook what's wrong with Obama because of how cool he is.

False. Say what you want about President Obama, he's still the better option than Mitt. /thread.

If that was a rip, Obama gets negative rep.

    ??????

You're proving me exactly right. Your one line "Obama is great" post is on par with Clutchfans politics. "/thread" nothing. I thoroughly disagree that Obama is the better option than Mitt. I don't see a great option.

PS - 'Obama is better than Romney' is not an acceptable response to 'Obama has faults.' It's like we're not allowed to critically analyze our president.
