So, my subscription is up. Decided not to renew because the rest of the games can be caught on television from here on out. I will say, I don't think I've ever watched more basketball than I did this season. A+
You really felt like it was an A+? I agree with your sentiment, but this service was not without its problems. I'd give them a solid B+
I'd give then an A- There were problems but let's face it, for 60 bucks the deal can't be beat. I ordered a 1 year subscription so I will pause it as soon as the conference finals are over so I can use it for the next year. I don't have cable but I can watch all the Finals on abc
Sure it had its problems but to put it in perspective: Paid $60 Was able to watch any and all basketball games Missed a game? No sweat, was able to catch it later that night iPhone compatible (made bus/train rides that much easier) Archive of all games For this type of service, I would've paid more to be honest. Jus' sayin'
So how does this work. My subscription ends on the 30th. Will I still be able to view this season's games after that if I don't re-up for the summer time?
I'm actually not sure about that... but you probably already know now if you can or not. So, are you still able to? What I do know is that once the 2014-2015 season starts, the 2013-2014 games won't be available to watch on demand.... unless they have changed their policies.
Whoever paid the lucky promo price of $60 for last season for ballstreams can get it again for $60 when your current membership ends. Just a heads up for everyone! Also, another heads up for everyone: Freeze your account right now if you have days left. I froze my account the day the finals ended and I have about 3 months left on my membership that'll start when the season starts again. Gotta love the freeze thing they have!
I read your first post and froze my account and then I read shastarocket's post and was like I clicked unfreeze and it worked even though earlier it said that I wouldn't be able to unfreeze the account.
Yeah... Didn't work. Had to re-up. Which isn't a bad idea when you look at it. Having access to any game including playoffs and finals until the summer league starts at least, really wasn't a bad idea IMHO
Just a heads up guys, the Orlando summer league is on the schedule. Lots of interesting players to watch including Marcus Smart, James Young, Canaan, Nick Johnson, Jabari Brown, Shabazz Napier, Steven Adams, Jeremy Lamb, Mitch McGary, Seth Curry, Aaron Gordon, Oladipo, Elfrid Payton, Pierre Jackson and (fuggin finally) Nerlens Noel!
