Casey - over the past 90 years, steroids have been used and abused to facilitate recovery from injuries. Period. Your insistence otherwise is making you look like an idiot.
you just totally changed your opinion. You said my inclusion of the word frequently made it false. you never said well frequently among crack heads.
what is making me look like an idiot in responding to arguments that AIDS is an injury, and that that is the common usage of the term. also where the hell did you get 90 years from? They were synthesized in the 30's.
the fact that you are making arguments about AIDS as an injury and the common usage of the term. I thought it was in the 20's - whatever, maybe it was the early 30's - I willingly concede 80 years to you here - congrats on the victory
no i didn't change my opinion. Yes your inclusion of the word frequently made it false (or more precisely not necessarily right because you didn't indicate the frequency of usage in the original hypo so it still could have been true, but we didn't have enough information to make that conclusion) because in your "fact" statement you just said that in true state of the hypo world only some people used crack. When I was answering your hypo I was only answering your hypo and not anything else.
Ok so in your research do you believe that 1. Steroids are frequently used to heal injuries. or 2. it is possible that the steroids helped baggys shoulder so much that when he quit his shoulder rapidly deteriorated. (knowing that he has arthritis)
1. Steroids are frequently used for legitimate medical purposes. Among athletes who use steroids, those steroids are frequently used for the purpose of recovery from workouts and injuries but i guess it depends on ones definition of "frequently" 2. I have no idea
yeah I think the athletes are claiming this recovery BS to make it seem as though it is not an advantage. then the media hears this and finds that roids help the muscles recover and think that means injury recovery.
