Not many people still remember that the Dream had demanded to be traded and (depending on who you believe) faked an injury at one point. Of course we then hired Rudy T and the rest became history.
to be fair, the rockets put crap around hakeem. 5 straight years of prime hakeem and they couldn't get out of the first round. most superstars start feeling the urge to get traded at that point. durant was playing with an mvp. undeserved mvp but still an all-star. plus okc was the best rebounding team in like 40 years. they just needed either a) the 73 win warriors to not exist or b) to not have durant and westbrook shoot like crap in games 5, 6, or 7. and even then no one would have cared it he had gone to any of the other 27 teams who hadn't played in the finals.
Just pointing out that even heroes have their warts as well. We forgive a lot when players help us win, but lets not forget those we revered as saints also had their sins.

He had no problem playing on a bad team. Hakeem didn't have true passion for the game of basketball like Kevin Durant, mostly just played for money. He'd rather play soccer if he could make more money off that.
Well, with more All Star teammates it is easier to win the NBA Championship, but it is also harder to win the MVP award, as you would have strong competition from your own teammates. I'm not a fan of his move to GSW at all, but he had demonstrated, I think, that he is CLEARLY the best player on that team.
I would strongly disagree with this. You simply cannot get as good as Hakeem got if you don't have passion for the game. Nor would you take it as the personal insult he did when David Robinson won 'his' MVP trophy.
Only Olajuwon knows his true motivations in life, but if the Hakeem we saw was only doing it for the money, then may the lord had mercy on the rest of the NBA players if he had real passion and dedication for the game. And even if money chasing, the evidence suggests Olajuwon was a true competitor that had belief in himself, thus not needing to join the Jordan-Pippen Bulls in order to cement his legacy. In contrast, Durant joined a team that had just won a record 73 games, already won a championship, and had been to the Finals two years in a row, thus creating a disparity of talent in the NBA that has probably never been seen. So maybe Durant has more "true" passion for basketball, but I'll take Olajuwon's competitive edge and integrity any day of the week, and twice as a finals MVP.
It's much easier for Hakeem to stand out against constant double and triple teams. Imagine how much easier it would be for KD to take on multiple higher seeded teams with a group of role players. Guys like KD and Lebron are truly an inspiration to us all showing that you can overcome anything if you dedicate yourself to the hardest road.
That was only a part of it. His major grinds he felt the FO didn't care about winning, only their bottom line. Say what now? This is just dumb talk. Hakeem absolutely cared about basketball and winning over playing for money.
I think he can win FMVP if they beat us next year(which means they'll go to the finals and win easily in the finals again). You can clearly see in the past finals, KD and all the Warrior players were trying to let Curry get FMVP. In G2, KD was 9 of 13 in the first 3 quarters, and he kept feeding curry who was really cold and was 6 of 20 in the first 3 quarters. KD could have easily taken 20 shots and got over 35 points given how hot he was and how cold curry was in that game. In G3, KD started trying to do the same thing, but Curry was pure trash that game, so KD had to take shots to win the game. G4, same story. Yet, Curry still wasn't able to get the FMVP given all the efforts by KD and other teammates. But next year, they can use a different strategy, that's purposely lose the games that Curry isn't performing well and make sure that KD never tries to take over a game. Warriors are just so stacked that they can use this strategy and beat everyone except the Rockets.

The fire was put out by Steve Patterson our GM Dream might have done this for a new contract, but nothing bad happen. It's like saying I almost had a car accident but I hit the brakes. there fore you didn't have one. Plus I personally feel that people who disrespect Dream should have ..accidents
If they mess around too much Boston can give them trouble in the finals. Boston has the chance to become a dynasty, especially if they can get Kawhi.
