Avery Johnson FIRED!!!!!

Great move + it should have happened before the season started.

All that constant lineup tinkering...all that making a talent like Deron Williams look ordinary...the recent comments from Williams saying as much...this was bound to happen soon.

 

It was only a matter of time.

 

Everyone knew this was coming.

these guys were "contenders" before playing one game with the addition of johnson. =/

 

D-Will just looks real bad sometimes and I don't think it all had to with coaching.

 

Avery Johnson couldn't even get along with Devin Harris, of all people. He is very hard on his point guards for some reason. I bet that didn't sit well with Deron.

 

Williams has been playing hurt this season and has not been himself, but a more capable coach would have been able to design offensive sets that work around those limitations.

Isn't there a series on NBA TV about the Nets this season? If so, I wonder how they handle this.

 

Avery Johnson is garbage. I was shocked when he has success in dallas.

Explain to me why the Nets have been a POS team for the past three seasons with Deron Williams averaging 39%FG.

Three seasons plagued with injuries? Maybe he's just overrated.
