They have dropped 7 games in a row, and are in a three way tie for the 5th seed, which mean they could easily drop to 7th. Furthermore, Miami is sneaking up on them at only 2 games back. Why are they dropping all these games with their "elite rim protector"?
They are missing Millsap, Bazemore, and Sefolosha. That's two of their starters and a bench player. Some teams would stuggle with missing three players with two of them being their starters.
And certain dumbasses on this forum tried to say it was Harden's fault that Howard wasn't successfully integrated last season, that it was Harden's fault for the lack of chemistry, that it was Harden's fault that Howard left.
Who said that? Strawman argument pfft. Also the Hawks slide has nothing to do with Dwight, they're missing Bazemore, Millsap and Sefalosha but I guess lets just blame Dwight regardless. If anything posters like you who have to have a scapegoat everytime something goes wrong are the people who were blaming players left and right last year.
Hawks are 9th in league in wide open 3's, but are the 4th WORST in league at actually making them. (Rockets lead league in open 3's, 13th in open 3's %) Hawks have had weak backcourt & wing players all year. Their frontcourt is okay enough with Millsap, Dwight, Ilyasova & Muscala. Shroeder is emerging talent as playmaking guard, still has some growing to do. Past that their wings are mediocre shooting 3 & D guys, and their guards are just bad. A Dwight team should still be a contender with him as primary guy, going by his past entitlement. But he's actually done the right thing this year just focusing on his limited touches and not over-demanding past that. He can't force his teammates to make or miss open shots. Kinda like the regular job version of saving your own ass, do your piece and let the others ruin themselves lol
