Wow, these prices are crazy low! Props to Arthur Blank! http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...s-major-team-sports-new-mercedes-benz-stadium
I love what the Hawks are doing and other teams should follow there lead. The price of food at the Toyota center is ridiculous
That's cool and all but didn't they just rape the ATL taxpayers for money only 20 years after they built the Georgia Dome and 10 years after they completed a renovation of that stadium?
Hey, its their way of giving back- 'Come buy overpriced tickets for your family so you can "save" on concessions'
Eh, it's better than 'come buy overpriced tickets for your family so you can "get triple penetrated without lube" on concessions'.
Low prices are great and all, but that still isn't gonna get me to ever eat food at a sports stadium (with very few exceptions)
LOL, not really. They still have a choice in purchasing or not. Higher priced concessions makes it easier for the parent to say, "I dont care how good it looks and smells, if youre hungry, youre getting the now crushed up peanut butter and cheese crackers I snuck in."
If someone's financial situation is such that they'd rather feed their kids 'crushed up peanut butter and cheese crackers I snuck in' than shell out $2 for a hot dog, they probably shouldn't be wasting all that money on tickets in the first place. I don't understand how this move can possibly be seen as anything other than a positive.
More like financial guidance/good parenting. I mean we can all share a $5 bottle of water with soon to be cheese cracker backwash in it from one of yall, or we can take turns at the water fountain with no backwash?
After a few beers and cocktails, the waffle fries w/ the white cheese dip @ Toyota Center is enough to make the most staunch penny pincher or health nut backslide just a little bit.
Exactly... while the team has basically quadrupled its franchise value as well, and the owner hasn't had to foot the majority of any of the multiple stadium renovations/constructions. Yet he will keep ALL the profits.
