IAH makes a boring first impression for the city. That place needs major upgrades.

You mean the A-HOLE who sold 50 years of tradition.

I hope that stadium that bears his name and lets rapists play in it burns to the ground.

Drayton plays the good christian role, but he's really an egotistical a-hole who's really all about himself and the money.

Me too if this lineup can just stay on the field they will be right in the thick of the playoff race.

You should probably pull the 4x4 out of your eye, so you can clearly see to remove the speck from you brothers eye.

I always heard that the reason Beltran didn't stay was he wanted a no trade and the Astros weren't willing to give him one. They should have because its not exactly easy to trade one of the highest paid players in the lead and thats what Beltran would have been at the time. Its another example of McClane fronting like he wanting to win but in reality he was more interested in lining his pockets ala Bob McNair.

    I can see .280, 22 bombs and 84 RBI's. I'll take it

shots fired at uncle drayton. sucks that you'd rather lose a world series then to suck in that pride and give beltran a no trade. Those games against chiraq were so winnable, so close that just having beltran swings it our way. we at least got to experience some caballito in the following years. =/

Damn I wish Charlie P was still on air. He'd be talking astros off season and bouncy ball. It's been an exciting offseason.

I always thought it was silly to boo a player that left. IMO, the best revenge is to act like he was never there. I'm never going to blame a guy for doing what he needs to do. He got the better deal in NY.

We now have one of the best lineups in baseball and next season is going to (hopefully) be fun. Every off season, there seems to be one team that goes on a spending tear and it ends badly (see San Diego 2014 and Arizona 2015). I think what the Astros have done is different because we were already a team on the cusp...not one trying to avoid a rebuild like those 2.

    Welcome back, Carlos.

Except when people arrive at NYC or LA they already know that the cities are awesome. First impression doesn't matter as much. When people arrive in Houston they really need to be wowed because this city is lame.

Humidity, felt immediately stepping off the plane, then, a lame airport.

NYC and LAX can't be lame because there's too much famous/great things within the airport that reflect the city.
