A Houston club hasn't been this stacked since Treasures re-opened.

Beltran was going to NY, plain and simple. He used the Astros to get the most he could out of the Mets

He won over the hearts of our city, then **** on us

**** him (until he hits .300 with 6 HR in April)

I'm going to say Breggy spoke to him in spanish. Beltran is like M.Cabrera and D.Ortiz, they can still hit no matter what age they are. Wait is he really 39?!?!?!?! Ichiro 2.0, Stros may celebrate Beltran's 3000 hits, or 500 HRs which I think is a steal for the price. I'm sure if Beltran didn't sign here, the Yankees would take him back, who signed M.Holliday right after. Is the GM available for the Texans?

Does this mean that Chandler Parsons returns in 9 years?

39 years old with 1 good knee? I don't think there's a designated FT shooter in the NBA, but there might be by then.

Beltran is a good addition for the team. He can always hit and was a elite outfielder before the injuries and age eroded his stills.

Carlos looks a little........ "different" than last time he was on the Astros.

Is Berman certain that is Carlos Beltran and not a cartel sicario.

I, for one, would not be opposed at least experimenting with Springer down at 5.

You want your best OBP guys batting in the top half of the lineup to get as many AB's as possible, in order to set up/score as many runs as possible.

If Springer is batting 5th, that means about half the lineup has a better OBP... which is a very good thing.
