2-2 We always seem to make things interesting, 4-0 or 3-1 would just be too good to be true. Oh, and we always seem to struggle agains the crappier teams. Of course we did just sweep Milwaukee..... Pugs
my sweep predictions has been nothing but a jinx for the Astros. I hate the idea of going against Snell, providing our offense gets shut down again. Nor do I like facing rookies across the board. Chances are TBA is going to be a rookie or two called up from their farm system. Anyways, Here are my Picks W, W, TBA, TBA
I'm pretty sure that the TBA's = Zack Duke and Kris Benson (both good pitchers). Thus, a lot of this series will depend on our ability to win these first two games. I already think Andy will take care of his (when does he not), so that means tonight's game is the key. If they win the first 2, the 'Stros normally have a knack of either sweeping or at least getting 3 out of 4. If they just split the first two, all bets are off... but we're on a pretty good streak now, and there's no need to lose a Roger Clemens vs. Ian SNELL matchup.
That's another thing I forgot to mention, when we're facing a pitcher for the first time ever, we usually make them look like future cy young award winners. Pugs
Anyone see Benson's wife. She is kinda scary. She's like one of those former models gone bad. Lips all puffy and raggy hair. I'm a little scared for him.
