Alright, I'm about to head out. Appears there's no new info/speculation/rumors out right now. Anyhow, happy rumor/internet searching. :p Whenever I get back, this thread will probably be 25 pages long, and people either will be a)bashing Roy Oswalt for blocking a trade b) bashing the Astros and Ed Wade for such a horrible package they got back in return or c) celebrating in joy the package they got back in return.

@Stephen_Goff: Expect Roy Oswalt to accept the Astros' trade proposal today.

He damn well better. And then the Astros better turn their attention to dealing Myers..

    SI_JonHeyman

#phils, #astros agree on players in oswalt trade. 2 sticking points left: roy's approval, the $16 mil option for '12

    SI_JonHeyman

with #phils winning 7 straight, youd think oswalt approves deal. but his call. FOX 26 first had trade agreement last night

    SI_JonHeyman

#phillies always the aggressor for oswalt. houston has to hope roy approves. dodgers, cards, rangers dont have as much $

Looks like Myers isn't going anywhere, they want him to mentor the staff?!?! If this is truly the package in return for Oz/Kepp then I can accept their decision however I would like them to still explore options for Wandy, Puma and even Pence.

Last night Barry Warren on 610, I know I know, said the Tigers were hot after Pence because of Magglio's injury so with Roy out of the way maybe they can move on to some of the other veterans for even more quality prospects.

Probably just a school pride thing with no actual relevance to whether or not Happ's included.

They might be right but I get the feeling the national media types aren't thrilled that a local guy broke the story thus they are trying to expand the story just incase he does decline.

They are all over the place now...

Sprow_ESPN No conf, but a couple Philly prospects that would have been discussed: RHP Jarred Cosart (20 yrs old) and Jonathan Singleton (18).
