I agree with this.. it's the rest of the package that I'm interested to see. Apparently Cosart and Singleton are some young studs that would immediately add a lot to our farm.

We know Happ is going to be in the deal and he's pretty good, but no one has said who the other young prospects are, am hoping for Singleton and Cosart but I don't want to get my hopes up

    Not sure you'll get either.

Probably not smart to post this(as there is no credibility to/with it) but early names out are JA Happ, Vance Worley, J.C. Ramirez, and Matt Rizzotti

Wow, Worley isn't a bad name and Rizzotti has power but not a fan of J.C. Ramirez.

Do you mind if I ask what the source for this is?

Hoping the package is a little better than that.

I dont have the direct source but I'm on various Philly message boards looking. This was from a guy who said he is "credible" in his mind. Again, no credible sources thus far. Basically "a friend of mine".

More names with nothing credible: Happ,May,Singleton, and Gilles.

By the way, I would love to sign Brandon Webb for next season, he said he might have 6 starts this season

Its not going to be Brown.

What's wrong with Happ? I like him.

He's 27 and not proven. Hopefully he develops into a player if we do get him.

He is a good number 3 and is under club control for a while, people are assuming he would be the center piece of the deal. I think one of the "A" ball guys will be the centerpiece, either Singleton or Cosart. By the way, I read up on JC Ramierz and he isn't as bad as I thought, good power arm.

Think you're being cited as a source on twitter.

From the Phuturephillies twitter account http://twitter.com/phuturephillies

@tobyhyde For sure. Ive prepped myself to give up Singleton + others. But the Haren trade really kind of sets the bar pretty low. We'll see

Source is someone random on an Astros board. So take it with a pound of salt. But it would fit the Ed Wade mold...
15 minutes ago via web .

wild rumor is happ, worley, rizzotti and jc ramirez. sounds way too good to be true

Other name being thrown around besides Happ is Scott Mathieson. Still looking.

BTW, "rumor" above about Happy, Worley, etc comes from the Astros board. My mistake but from the Astro board by Philly person.

Now speculation Singleton could be included(seen this both on Astros board and Phillies board, again take it for not much, or really nothing at all) and a guy like Keppinger could go back to Philly.

I think Keppingers being traded with Oswalt, once I heard Bourgeois was moving to 2nd base, Jeff was done in Houston
