No disrespect to Castor27, but I figured I'd sub in.

All game talk goes in here. Please do not give play by play. If you need play by play go to CBS, ESPN, or Yahoo.

    Pitching Probables:

    9-23 Wandy Rodriguez (10-8, 5.43) vs. Glendon Rusch (7-8, 4.59) 2:20 on FSSW

    9-24 Ezequiel Astacio (2-6, 5.76) vs. Carlos Zambrano (14-5, 3.17) 1:20 on KNWS

    9-25 Andy Pettitte (17-9, 2.45) vs. Jerome Williams (5-9, 4.39) 1:20 on KNWS

Zambrano scares me... he's one tough dude. I think he took us deep last time we played the ScRubs. Somehow we managed to avoid Prior and Maddox. Even though Rusch has given us fits in the past, winning two out of three this weekend will be crucial. Hopefully, Wandy can hang tough and the offense can score some runs for him (as has been their norm). Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they score 5+ runs for Wandy and come back and get shut out against Zambrano.

If we make the Playoff and go to a 4 man rotation would you rather have

    Brandon Backe 10-8 4.59 or
    Wandy Rodriguez 10-8 5.43

    starting?

Gotta go with Backe, but Wandy has had a good year.

According to WGN, Astacio will replace Clemens on Saturday. I hope the rest will help his hammy.

790 AM is broadcasting the game......740 AM is exclusively covering something going on in the Gulf of Mexico.

Terrible first inning hitting....you've got to wonder if all the distractions are beginning to take effect.
