The first thing that came to mind watching him trot around the bases in those white shoes after hitting these homers is Cesar Cedeno back in the early 70's.
Reminds me of Corey Sewer. He was good after he was traded to us and then he was mentally challenged afterwards.
I tend to agree... then again, if he remains scorching hot not just now, but makes a name for himself in the post-season... crazier things have happened after a 2-3 week hot stretch in the heart of the national spotlight. He may not get $16 million/year... but is more likely to get a multi-year contract worth more than his last one (5/25)... something Rasmus was unlikely to have gotten (hence why he agreed to the tender).
Sees much better pitches.. has great protection, they sure as heck don't want to put him on....Cameron's making them pay. Love the power, and he will help us manufacture runs...an area that we've needed to address in order to finish off the first WS title. With the addition of JV, all the boxes are checked by Luhnow. We stay healthy and enjoy the ride.
Reminds me of Lou Williams. Listen, the guy is hot right now, don't go overboard. Nothing in his history suggests that he is this kind of hitter.
