the difference between game 1 and 2 clearly shows how much of an impact Parsons has(like Coach Sampson said), those were the same guys initiating the offense in both games, the only difference was Parsons. People sometimes ask just what are "those intangibles"? Look at what the team did differently from game 1 to game 2 and there you are. Donatus may have gotten discouraged and wasnt as active in the second half of gm2 as he was in gm 1, and that will need to be worked on if he wishes to succeed at this level, but the entire first half he was working hard and getting no help getting the ball. The ball wasnt moving like it needed to.......something Parsons would have helped a great deal with.
BPA tier list is ALWAYS the way to go. The only time you select need, is when two players are available from the same tier. IIRC, both Jones and White were on the higher tier than Zeller, and I think he had Jones rated 13th White 14th, but chose White first for two reasons, 1 to block the mavs and 2 because of our PF glut.
OR the other team's coaches game-planed around him because they saw his skill-set the night before and in the first half. We learned he is not a first option but a strong second or third option. The more he plays the more we (as fans) will know. To say "Donatus may have gotten discouraged and wasnt as active in the second half of gm2 as he was in gm 1" is somewhat misleading. If this is truely the case he needs to be traded ASAP! for he is a weak minded and will quit on the team and himself.
PG play was horrendous in both games but shots were falling in game 1 so it didn't show up as much. No one was controlling the action in game 2 and it showed up big time.
