This is really unnecessary. We knew this already. Asik is not a high flyer. Dwight has spoiled you guys. Asik was the 2nd best player on the team last year and nothing has changed other than opportunity. Look at what he does do. He plays tremendous position defense as a help defender and man to man, rebounds the hell out of the ball, protects the basket, and sets the most brutal screens in the game. Lets not suddenly bash him for not being able to jump and be Dwight Howard.
I actually really like him, and love the fact we have a starter quality back up for DH. It's just that his lack of lift on the offensive end is funny! =]
Yeah I hear you. People keep making fun of him for not being able to jump though. If he could jump, we wouldn't have even gotten him in the first place lol. He would be an All Star. I'm not sure Chicago knew they had a guy on the bench that could average 12 rebounds in 30 minutes. The fact that he can't catch consistently and his inability to jump is probably why he was underrated. Now if we want to question the legitimacy of his "injury" again, I'm all for that. :grin:
