Which one would you pick if you were the coach? Afflalo seems to be playing better basketball overall. He's on par with DeRozan on offensive end, but is a much better defender. However, Magic is one of the bottom feeders in the East (!) while Raptors are 3rd-4th seed. Thoughts?
Give me Afflalo. I've never thought much of DeRozan. Maybe it's because he's always played for the Barneys, a team that I follow about as closely as CSKA Moscow.

Neither, tbh. Afflalo is on a terrible team, DeRozan isn't very efficient. Kyrie / Wade will get picked by fans. Then Wall and Lowry should be backups. That leaves two wild card spots. But which two of these bigs would you leave at home: LeBron George Melo Hibbert Noah Millsap Drummond Bosh Al Jefferson Deng You have to leave at least two of them to make room for Afflalo or DeRozan. Also, Lance Stephenson has a case as well. He doesn't score as much as Afflalo or DeRozan, but he plays a much more all around game than DeRozan and he's generally the 3rd best player on a winning team.
It's bad, too many guys injured, but I don't think it's that bad. I don't think the Raptors should get two all stars, and DeRozan is their 2nd best player. And Afflalo is a better player than DeRozan but his team is terrible. Under .500, ok. But .250? You have to do something fantastic to be considered an All Star under those circumstances, IMO.
