Sigh the ignorance continues.. Really? Love "stunk it up"? He was still getting 13-14 rebounds per game.. keep in mind his hand was still not fully recovered, that's why his PPG and fg% was down. Honestly I thought everyone knew that.. it really isn't that hard to understand.

But superstars don't just put up numbers. The Wolves this year have played BETTER without him.

Love isn't a superstar yet. His defense needs to improve immensely, along with his efficiency and playmaking. He is an all-star.

You're mistaken. Tim Duncan is currently not a superstar.

how come? they are 9-9 with him and 7-9 without him.

But Love hasn't even been Love this year. Which is normal for a volume shooter coming back from a shooting hand injury.

    Your argument betrays your assertion.

My definition of a Superstar is someone who can carry his team on his back any given night leading them to a victory.

Harden, LeBron, KD, Melo (He has done it many times), Kobe, Howard, Wade, Love (when healthy), Dirk (when healthy)... Can't think of more.. maybe Duncan.. but that is how i see a superstar.

By your own definition, you have a VERY VERY odd distribution.

Why on earth is Kobe Bryant a 'super duper star' IF the requirement is the ability to put a team on your shoulders???
If anything, he ought to be in the 'Fading' category. He has put his team on his shoulders and led them to a (current) number 12 draft pick.
And Tim Duncan is apparently 'Fading' according to you? This despite San Antonio being tied for most wins in the NBA.

You can make a case here. Yes, his team is struggling and is actually much, much worse when he scores. Superstar should recognize that and do what it takes to WIN.

And yes, his defense is bad and has been bad for the last 2-3 years.

You can't deny what Love did last year, his stats were simply amazing. You can defend him and say he is injured and has been for the most part of this year (that's where the struggles come from). But I have seen few Wolve's game and I have to agree, he is nowhere near superstar level.

He is a phenomenal jumpshooting rebounder which probably makes him so unique. He is also a good passer. But when he is not making his outside jumpers he is very limited offensively. Yes, he gets plenty of rebounds and he can score on put backs, but he has NO post up or face up game, at least I haven't seen that.

We need to see improvements, especially on the post and on defense...

Has harden proven that? I don't think so.

And remember, we are talking about superstars TODAY. Duncan and Dirk do not belong in that group.

So he can rebound, but can't score and can't play defense, yet he's a superstar. Got it. And I'm be a little more lenient on the hand thing if his offensive numbers were just bad, as opposed to Austin Rivers level.

Sure, Love can turn it around and become a superstar, and he was one last year. But same with Rose, and he's not a superstar right now either. Same with Love.

Well, the OP question was "including injured players". There's no reason to think that Love won't be back to his normal level. Trickier with Rose.
