the RB scrap heap right now consists of Steven Jackson, Pierre Thomas, Chris Johnson, and a plethora of washed up scrubs.

Blue left a lot of yards on the field last season, I guess we can hope that he's learned something.....I dunno.
Here's to him taking the next step. He's been training with AP and his trainer in Houston the whole offseason.
I keep pressing F5 hoping to see someone posting a twitter post saying it's not a serious as being reported.....
That's ridiculous, Worst case scenario is probably missing 4-6 regular season games and a possible return for the start of the season
He gave you 96 yds a game last year in 12 games...what more do you want? If you had a franchise QB making huge money, then sure, Arian needs to go. But you don't, so Arian stays. Probably restructures or even gets an extension. He's not washed up. He's the only offensive weapon you have. You can't easily find these guys because most of them have red flags and we all know how the McNairs hate red flags.
The combo of running backs the Texans have can do the job. This allows the offense to be opened up a bit without being able to rely upon Foster for 30 touches a game. If the surgery and recovery go well, the Texans are adding an All Pro level back for the stretch run.
I'd take a look at Ray Rice for the minimum but I know Bob McNair has no tolerance for anyone that lays hands on a woman
Weird how much the stories vary from source to source. Harris (and others) said Foster had the night off, and no one else reported him coming up lame. Hoping Foster is ok, as this offense is predicated on running the ball. This might be the first step in being bad enough to draft Hackenberg or Cook.
guys, we still have the stros and rockets start preseason in 50 days? the importance of a great runningback, blocking so hoyett won't get scrambled into the monster turf, soft cushion for dump off passes, and the threat of arian opening up the passing game. R.I. P groin. probably always working overtime.
I doubt she's making it up, just weird how we've heard of all the other injuries during camp, but nary a word on this - potentially catastrophic, season-altering - injury until just now.
