The only TD catch of the game against the Bears in a blizzard of a MNF game. What a perfect diving catch and shimmy just to get the ball clearly over the line before his body hit the ground. That's how I'll remember Arian Foster.

That was when both teams here near undefeated, playing smash mouth football, and were looking to establish thenselves as big dogs in the NFL, with the best defense defeating the second best. By God we thought we had done it. Possibly the spiritual pinnacle for this franchise.

That run vs the Bengals in the playoffs was epic.

Andre Johnson gone. Arian Foster gone. They were part of the mix that brought excitement to Houston's NFL fanbase. I'm heartbroken to see it end like this.

Yeah this is kinda gross dude. Epitome of just rooting for the laundry. If you can't respect a guy like Arian's efforts you're not much of a fan IMO.

The nature of the game, you get 4 years as a HB, great or not, the second contract should just not be given. And before the masses come out with naming the very few who are relevant on that second contract, it's a mere handful only.

Greatest HB the Texans will have, and he was great.

This is the saddest day ever to be a Texans fan. Foster was special. To watch him go undrafted to taking his opportunity and making the best of it. Foster is every undrafted players dream. He was a Texan. He was our special running back. We could always count on him every time he plays.

One of the best backs in the league. Smoothest runner ever. Such a special talent he was. He was one of the best player to don a Texan uniform. To watch him work so hard to get back only to suffer another major injury breaks my heart. One of my favorite player ever. Such a joy to watch. The comfort I have when seeing him on the field is indescribable. Arian Foster is truly special.

It's heart breaking watching that happen. I shed a tear when I knew it was over. To watch it end that way hurts. I wish he would come back strong but I think this is it. Thank you for all the great years you gave Houston. You were the best back in the NFL. Such an underrated player. The Texans will never be the same without 23. Thanks for all the memories Arian Foster.

I really think he was on AP's level.

Maybe not in terms of pure running ability, but his overall football IQ and skillset were top notch.

Arian was a scumbag of a person but he was a good player for us. Hope we can get someone who will match his production soon.
