I like Head's minutes. I think this year of being thrown into the fire will help him develop his game enormously in the off-season. His game has actually evolved quite a bit throughout the course of the year. He began as a 3-pt shooting specialist. And he's since become more agressive in attacking the rim as a scorer in comparison to any other guards on our team. He's also developed some penetrate and dish, and made concerted efforts to shoot the midrange and the short floater. Don't get it twisted, he's not high percentage . . . yet. But I expect that this off-season could be something special for this kid. He's no lockdown defender yet either, but as a rookie, he's shown terrific flashes and he's got the the quickness and instincts to be a great perimeter defender. His size at the 2 will forever have him at a disadvantage. But I woudn't be surprised to see him hone his game this summer as more a point guard as Jon Barry noted a couple games ago. Could Rafer be expendable?

I'm pretty much selling on Swift. Most all of us saw the upside and potential of a physically gifted and athletic specimen. I have a feeling Morey would've put us all in check on Swift last summer. Stro is gifted athletically, but he doesn't seem to be a basketball player. Some guys just know how to ball, Stro doesn't appear to be once of those guys.

On the other hand, Chuck Hayes does appear to be a genuine basketball player. The guy just has a nose for the ball and the game itself. He's almost the Anti-Swift with his being height-challenged but high game IQ. If anyone needs more run, it's this guy. I still cannot understand why he's not a bigger part of the equation. Does he BS around in practice or something, because he brings it hardcore everytime I watch him play. And the stats and efficiency ratings don't lie. The guy is a legit player who, as far as I'm concerned, has a ceiling as high he wants to make it (Who would've ever thought Dennis Rodman could be a starter in the league let alone an NBA Legend and starter for NBA Champions).

I think head will make a great backup shooting guard for many years. he got some playing time, knows what to expect and what he needs to work on. 3-4 years coming off the bence he could be a decent starter but hes got alot to work on.

Giving Stromile more minutes may lower his trade value...
