Dear referees: We forgive you for any bad calls or non-calls that have gone against us. We understand you're just trying do your job as well as you can. Everybody makes mistakes, and every team suffers its share of the consequences. That's life.

All we ask is that you continue to call fouls on James Harden's defenders in the playoffs exactly the way you called them in the regular season. In officiating, consistency is the golden rule.

    Deal?

    Sincerely,

    Rockets fans

All these reports prove is that the refs are terrible at their jobs.

Yes. If a game went into overtime, everything is still the same, the only difference is the report is longer since it accounts for the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter and each overtime.

I hate to say it, but I do agree with this....there's going to be calls that go both ways, you just hope they even out in the end.

Heres's all the calls, 8 against us, 1 against the other teams, you can be the judge on how "equal" they are:

Rockets vs. Cavs - 2 went against us, 1 went against them
    • Rockets - Harden (HOU) walks into space occupied by James (CLE). Contact escalates and should have resulted in a double personal foul.
    • Rockets - After the initial hook by Harden (HOU), James (CLE) fouls by pulling him. The foul causes Harden to lose his pivot foot.
    • Cavaliers - As Harden (HOU) starts his drive to the basket, he clamps the arm of James (CLE) and an offensive foul should have been called.

Rockets vs. Hawks - No incorrect calls

Rockets vs. Grizzlies - 3 against us, none against them

    • Jones (HOU) uses a pump fake to get the defending Lee (MEM) in the air. Lee 's left leg hits the back of Jones as he attempts to gather the ball for the layup
    • Gasol (MEM) does not release his shot before the 24-Second clock expires. Houston gains possession on the rebound.
    • Randolph (MEM) makes contact across Harden's (HOU) arm/wrist, causing him to lose the ball on the drive to the basket.

Rockets vs. Clippers - 1 against us, none against them

    • Griffin (LAC) holds Harden (HOU), which forces the turnover.

Rockets vs. Raptors - 2 against us, none against them

    • Harden (HOU) requests a timeout before the jump ball that is not granted
    • Ross (TOR) takes longer than 5 seconds during the inbounds play prior to requesting a timeout

How something like a challenge flag like in the NFL, maybe 1 or 2 chances to review a call per game at the coaches discretion?
