What if he made 3/3? That's 100%. Would that be more impressive than something like 75/100 for 75%?

No. But that compilation of 100 underhanded free-throws would be impressive tho.

In 2 years, he will be Capela's age. Promising draft pick. You can tell he has a good basketball IQ too, I predict he'll be a decent passer.

I haven't heard of anyone who shoots over 86% mocking him.

NBA pressure and pace effect you on the line. Tired players need to catch their breath on that first FT. Some players will think about it more while catching their breath and feel more pressure. Some just shoot them to get the pressure off.

Wilt shot underhand for a little while. But he stopped because, in his own words, "He felt like a sissy."

That's not all. Rick Barry, one of the best free throw shooters of all time, has tried to convince other NBA players to shoot underhand to increase their percentage. He said:

    Same thing for Shaq

I don't know much about this Onuaku kid but I'm glad he's doing what he needs to do to be effective.

that would be awesome the day that a bonafide superstar that struggles with FTs could improve by shooting underhand and be good at it.
