False alarm brehs. All I needed was some more water to flush excess creatinine. Back to ribeye steaks.
You don't win friends with salad. I have a couple of veggie-types coming over for my next bbq...other than the usual boring grilled veggies what can I do for them?
My great grandfather died of a heart attack. My grandfather died of a heart attack. My father died of a heart attack. So, yeah, it's called a HHD (Heart Healthy Diet) for me. Which does mean plenty of fruits and vegetables. The darker, the better. And walnuts. And oatmeal. It also means lots of salmon and mackerel. And I'm sorry, as much as I hate to harm the living things, I have to put me first- so between me and the salmon, it's me. It also means a steady diet of Pinot Noir. Everybody has to choose their own way. If that's veganism, props to you. Mine is HHD.
natural line of defense olive oil/flaxseed and vingar Early signs of water retention/swelling joints/highblood pressure should be eliminated by freindly drug like Lasix 20-50 mg
Give them ribs and brisket.... when they look appalled tell them it is a BBQ and ask them what the hell did they expect.
You have to give them these new beyond meat vegan burger patties. They're pretty damn good, my (non vegetarian) friends say they can't tell the difference between them and real burgers which is pretty nuts. They're only sold at Whole Foods currently. Not sure if your friends are vegan or vegetarian, but if vegan you can pick up some vegan mayo and cheese from whole foods as well. (Pic is a link to the website btw)
I always wonder why veggie types even bother showing up at bbq's, maybe you just make really good coleslaws
Your friends are lying to you. Also if non vegans like Buck are expected to make exceptions at a BBQ for vegans, then the inverse is true. Make your friends a double cheese burger with bacon and not make them smile and lie to you when you serve up a non beef burger.
First, Buck asked what he could make his vegetarian friends. Second @CallMeTheDream How was that burger bro?
Lmao it was good. I'm all honesty really couldn't tell the difference down to the meat, cheese everything.
I am actually a little surprised that vegetarians would be interested in eating something that looks just like meat.
It's not murdered animal flesh, it doesn't bother me ethically. I think it's a great product and product category, it helps people adjust to a vegetarian diet without missing the taste or the culture they grew up enjoying. It's healthier, much better for the environment, saves a lot of water, and requires no murder of animals.
