    lol

CP3 is needed in order to take pressure off of Harden, keep him as fresh as possible entering the playoffs, and to take over when he is struggling

Harden will break down if u ask him to keep doing what he’s been doing since CP3’s been out for an entire season

CP3 should be more motivated when he gets back .Im sure he don't want Austin to outplay him.

I'm not worried about Chris being outplayed by Rivers, not at all. CP3 is a future Hall of Famer as a classic point guard with every tool in the toolbox that a pure point needs except for size. Rivers is a combo guard, a 1/2, who will give the Rocks a different look when Rivers comes in so Paul can get a needed blow (and can play fewer minutes, something badly needed, as everyone knows).

The beauty of Rivers (did I just use the word "beauty" attached to Austin's play after hammering the signing early on?!?) is that he can backup Chris, he can backup Harden, and he can backup Gordon. The real trip will be seeing him play with all three when we go to a small, very quick lineup that is decent defensively, and will murder the opposition offensively, depending on matchups. In my humble opinion. That will be crazy to watch, something I look forward to.

Are the Rockets better without Chris Paul? Not sure I would go that far yet. But we have proven that we can win without him. The addition of Rivers is huge. Much more of a difference than I thought it would be. It is nice to see our bench go out on the floor and play with some confidence for the first time in a long time.

You can’t have two iso players taking turns while others stand around watching

and he will be awesome killing closeouts something ariza could never do

In the offseason i called this offensive explosion when rockets got rid of ariza..he was stalling and suffocating our offense for years

Well I'm glad you know you can't have a brain if the answer isn't a fast "no".

You are dumb if you think Chris Paul was a bad player this year.

This team ****ing stinks. Harden is just playing that well right now. Austin Rivers sucks and is no savior. CP3 was still playing good basketball before the injury, just not elite basketball.

Not going to read this thread. Just popping in to say this may be the dumbest thread we've got on here. Bye.

In the regular season you could say that. I hope Chris has another gear to resort to!

I guess this is similar to how an average cf rejects all of your writings as a nonsense
