i've said it before and i'll say it again. once mac is healthy we need to run an alleyoop play behind yao if he gets fronted. easy two points. won't work the whole game, but it's good for a couple times per game.

If you compared his Nov's performance with his Dec's, you might find out yao can dominate on a consistent basis statistically. I think yao attacked double or even triple team more often than before. He become more aggressive under the rim.

What worries you worried me before. But after the Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, I think we have the potentials to make something happen that we've been waiting for years. Even I see a slight open for the ultimate gate of the Championship. Though one game is too short or insufficient to prove that we are a better team than the others, you have to admire and be excited about the win. You did see how smoothe they were moving the ball, how deep Yao could get in the paint, how well and accurate T-mac passed the ball. Plus, we were shorthanded at the time.

If I have to pick up a thing bothering me, I have to go to the 'health'. There is no injury -free ticket on the bus, and you cant expect you all go 100% in the game being 100% healthy. At least, I'll expect they are all GOOD enough to be playing in the playoffs.

We finished 25 games with a 16-9 record. We still have 57 games to play. With every one on the way back to 'being healthy', I think we could squeeze 'what we want' a bit more from this team. We might expect more.

    Let's see.

The Rockets need to learn that when they see defenses front Yao, they have to score BECAUSE of it, not IN SPITE of it. All the reversing and the swinging of the ball doesn't work that well because Yao isn't great at pinning his man. The ball-handler just has to take his man off the dribble and into the open paint area.

I'm still not convinced yet, because of the opponents the rockets have faced so far in December.

    correct

We need to solve the problem before playoffs, when defenders front Yao while we cant pass the damn ball to our big guy.. So far, Yao's stats are 19.7 pts and 9.9 rebs, i think his stats can be better.

Just think if we had a starting PG who could finish in the paint and at the rim, instead of Rafer.

as much as I love to give you hell :p, we are in total and complete agreement on that.

thacabbman did a great job of reviving the kind of discussion that made me fall in love with this board....anyone who voted less than 5 is a total and complete moron.
