Are the players trying to get Van Grumpy fired??

    57-25 in 1996-97, his first full season with the Knicks. He also had one 50-32 season.

    His record in the strike shortened season, when the eighth seed Knicks lost to the Spurs in the Finals was 27-23 (.540), the equivalent of a 44-45 wins in a normal year.

    ...not bad at all, considering Jordan's bull were playing great as well as the Heat,Hawks, Hornets and Pacers.

    And the Hornets were a bad team that didn't make the playoffs.
