As bad as the Cavs have been playing the past two months they're still the team to beat in the east. Boston will have the #1 seed, but the Cavs just destroyed them in Boston a short time ago (114-91).
Yeah, just last Wednesday, right? CLE is 8-2 vs the top east teams 3-1 vs Boston 3-0 vs Toronto 2-1 vs Washington Seems they do have another gear for these big conf rival games.
Those teams aren't that good. Just because they have a good record in the East doesn't mean that they're a good team.
Reminds me of 2014 when the Heat were dead on their feet beginning in ~ January but pathetic competition allowed them to make the Finals (and get smoked by the Spurs). Same thing will happen this year with the Warriors. It won't be pretty for Cavs fans or Warriors haters.
