Look at their last 5 games (all wins): Bulls, Cavs, Rockets, Mavericks, Clippers... They just RAN through the top dogs in the West. Kyle Korver da gawd gunning for a 50/50/90 season... Their starting PG Jeff Teague hasn't even been playing...
I have a feeling they struggle closing out games. Watching that Mavs game, they were choking. Had it not been for the benefit of ref calls on Saturday, I think we could've beat them.
Yep and they choked like dogs tonight too but the Clippers didn't want it bad enough. Sorry OP, I don't take the Hawks seriously. Nice little run but nobody will remember it.
They're a tough team but honestly the east is not a problem for the rockets. After the boys pulled their head out of their asses, we showed up the hawks in the second half of Saturday's game. We lost due to the horrifically poor officiating by Tony brothers. If rockets keep improving and beat gsw im betting they're 90% coming home with a ring
They're a pretty good team. Best in the East isn't a really high bar to clear, but yeah I could go with that.
Atlanta is hot right now. Let's see if they can keep it up. They are like the Detroit team a decade ago...solid all around but no real star.
Ain't no way the Hawks make it and the Spurs won't win 3 playoff series in the WC unless Kawhi is healthy and playing well.
Looking at the teams that they ran through, they are the real deal. Remember, this was during an exhausting road trip where they were without their starting PG vs CLE, HOU and DAL. 2nd round for sure and a possible ECF appearance. They only East team I don't think they can take in a 7 game series is Chicago
They're just a team that's gotten hot. Come playoffs, they're not troubling Chicago or cleveland in a 7 game series. Bit of fools gold like Memphis.
They are a very good team. All they are missing is a star level player. That would put them over the top.
Atlanta is us 3 seasons ago except they get to play in the East. Good team but not great team. They are the third best team in the East behing Toronto and Cleveland.
