Lol awesome moving screens, low kicks, eye gouging, 73 win team begging a superstar to join them, superstar taking a paycut and bandwagonning with a 73 win team, silver and his refs rescuing them whenever they're in trouble

If they actually played great, I would've appreciated it, but they are damn lucky. They wanted it more tonight, but how they handle themselves is just childish and entitled.

They are not likable at all, and they ain't historic no more. All they do now is relying on Durant.

Yes, they were pretty good before Durant joined them. Steph was on the zenith of his game but those were other times.

They are vulnerable right now and folks knew it. They are barely getting by now.

Honestly I enjoy watching the Bucks at times, they are the new Worriers, I would always look for the Next Dynasty rather than dwelling on the same group if I am not focused on the Rockets' state of mind.

    I also like Budenholzer.

It doesn’t help numb anything as there is nothing at all to appreciate about the Worriers...NOT even one single thing.

    Winning numbs all.

I can’t yet comprehend losing to this farce of a team.

Mmmm, I don’t really appreciate their smugness and although having confidence and swag is a good thing, they are obnoxious. Klay strutting around, Donkey donkeying, Curry with that stupid mouthpiece.. just want to smack it out of his mouth.

I also don’t appreciate their dirty swipes, how multiple future hall of famers and a “super team” of all-stars still needs the league and refs to bail them out, their childish antics (they actually remind me a lot of my son at times, and he’s 4).

    Nah, I’m good. **** that

I don't appreciate them but I do respect and fear them. This a great assemblage of talent who know how to move the ball and play defense. They can get scoring from almost anyone and have the mystique of a being in the midst of a dynasty. I will never root for this Warriors team but have to respect what they have done and can do.

I believe this man is in need of an intervention.

It wasn't even started until after the loss. Also how could it possibly get more sickening??

It’s just basketball. If we lived in Oakland, we’d all love the Warriors and you know this is true. That our perception of them would change so much depending merely on our location should indicate that the stuff that we “hate” about them really isn’t that big a deal.

And once we’ve made that realization and can just sit back and enjoy the level at which they play the game, the losses just don’t sting quite as bad.

There is a psychological component here I was underestimating. The need to despise one’s rival is apparently very tightly interwoven with the desire to see our team be successful. To the point that even the suggestion that one is better off not despising them so much is received with intense hostility.

This aspect of sports fandom is really kind of fascinating. Is there some need for the extreme swings in emotion — that is, the bliss that comes with seeing our team be successful must be appropriately counterbalanced with anger/frustration/distress when the rival wins instead? What’s the origin of this?
