http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Mobile-and...vent-on-March-2-10-Things-to-Look-For-785063/ To be announced March 2nd... Rumored to have dual cameras a higher res HD screen, and possibly a dual-core processor. I'm not looking to get one... but Apple's usually catching people's attention with the iPad so the iPad could change everything again. lol...
I'm interested in seeing what they've changed. Lighter and thinner would be a big plus, as would the more powerful CPU and GPU. Maybe this will be the one I'll buy, although I doubt that it has the "Retina Screen." I'm jonesin' for the super high resolution model to come out. Much easier on the eyes.
I hate Apple and all they stand for. On my black list of companies and every one of their products is on the black list too. Someday soon their business practices will be the end of them and I cannot wait long enough.
I'd be curious to see what the pricing is on the new vs. old. if the new one is THAT good, mb the last version will come down to a price I'd pay. So you're pre-ordering yours? Seriously, though, sounds like you might just have issues or something.
The only issue I have lay with people who think Apple products are automatically superior. And with those who soak up Apples feces laden marketing scheme with gusto, feeling every thrust that Steve Jobs proudly inserts into their stinkers. They "improve" on products that they gimped on release just to sucker some coffee shop blogger into shelling out another first born to get the new product that will just become "unhip" again in 2012 after Apple adds a feature that should have ALWAYS been included. Wake me up when they do FINALLY do something revolutionary, I will be on my Android.
I'm happy with newer and faster components, like say computer parts, being updated and released quickly, but a big device like this is a different story. Releasing such a major updated model after only one Holiday season does feel like a slap to the face. But I suppose it's pointless writing this to someone who just reply with generic one liners.
Or people that have already made their mind up without any reasoning. I mean, a big device like what? What falls under that definition? Smartphones? New models all the time. Laptops? Same. Desktops? Same. Since the release of the first iPad, everyone is rushing to push more and more tablets out the door. Motorola, Samsung, HP, Dell, etc. etc. You think all these guys, if they get a successful model, are going to wait 2 years or more before pushing out more of them? A year is a long time in this industry. Apple would be stupid to sit on the first iPad while everyone else is about to push more tech out. Not too mention competition has barely caught up to the first iPad, nor is the App Store suddenly going to close and all your software is dead because the new one is coming out. 'slap in the face' makes no sense
Man, Apple knows how to squeeze the last dollar out of every one of their customers... Great marketing and business
if it does not have a 2048x1536 screen (which it probably will not) then count me out. My guess is cameras, different sceen manufacture that will be touted as better, and an A5 chip. iPad 3 will have a higher res screen probably.
