Anyone know where to find Rockets authentic Jersey for less than the RocketShop??

    Hey all,

    Coming in town tomorrow for the game and was going to buy an authentic, shiny on court gear, jersey for ~$150.

    Does anyone know of a store in Houston were I could get it for cheaper? Ebay is flooded with fakes, so I didn't even bother.

    Don't want a replica, want the real McCoy. Gonna get one, one way or another but would like to get it cheaper if possible.

    Any help would be apperciated.

    If they don't carry them there, you might want to check and see if The SportsAuthority will price match. They have a pricematch policy and they might pricematch the reebok price with discount. Just gotta try :D


    If not then at least you've tried to save a huge chunk of money and you're right back at square one :)

    You may also want to check the same sports store in Deerbrook mall where you got your Tmac throwback last year. There is also another sports store in Sharpstown mall that sells authentics. I forgot the name for both, but its basically a mom/pop shop, just dunno the name.

    I was thinking of checking the one in Deerbrook again to see if thier price was lower than the Rocketshop. May have to give Sharpstown a look as well.

    the outlet has swingman jerseys but not authentic ones.

    most regular sotres (footlocker, etc) do not sell authentic gear.

    I wait for the Footlocker or Eastbay friends and Family Sales.
    They are usually every 2 or 3 months and start on a Thursday and end that Sunday. 30% off anything.
    If you know an employee they can get you 50% off anything when Employee Appreciation comes.
    But it sounds like you dont have a lot of time.
    Best bet is to order online.

    Nope. I bought one for 55 on ebay and it's authentic. If you're able to wear a size 40 you can get em for cheaper since not too many people want that size.

    btw, both the Reebok Outlets at Katy Mills and San Marcos, no go on authentics or NBA jerseys at all. Katy Mills had a bunch of replicas on clearence for like less than $20, not many Rockets, mostly just Yao.

    I think what Gummi was saying is the same thing I mentioned, Ebay is loaded with tons of fakes, the only way you can tell for sure it by comparing them to the ones they sell at the rockets shop,
