I feel like Clutch posters r at the stage where we are winning so much, that posters just wants to stand out by btching about something or someone. Not necessarily referring to OP, but I noticed a rise in threads just btching, ENJOY the fkin W and the ride into playoffs, this team is pretty special.
Well, I feel like Iso is pretty smart, b/c Harden or Paul can run offense while the other ball handler catches his breath, a rested Harden is more effectively than one that is drained running around the court on offense w/o ball. Our pace isn't that fast, allowing players to basically rest on offense, while staying open for a pass
You have arguably the best isolation player in the league in harden and top 6 in Paul you try to milk it for what it’s worth.

the ball moves after the iso pick and roll. Drive corner pass , pass, open 3 James dribbles out clocks in the 4th with leads to drain the time down and slow it all down
they will not win a championship with this style of play. i think we have all forgotten just how dominant the warriors are since they have been coasting for so long. forgot how difficult the spurs will be once pop really gets a chance to game plan. forgot the harden's ISOs have not worked late in playoffs. lets also not forget how bad we looked against the raptors defense with all the ISO. you guys are setting yourself up for some major heartache if you believe this style is going to win it all.
chris paul and harden wont work. Oh wait they arent going to compete for the 1 seed GS is too good. Oh wait they arent going to beat GS....oh wait 2-1 head to head they arent going to hold off GS...oh wait they arent going to win with a style theyve played all year for the best regular season in rockets history in the playoffs....yea ok
No way they play like this in the post season. Letting off the gas while still bringin home Ws is important.. achieve it anyway you can. Fast slow offense defense - they've shown they can win in multiple ways. You just know they're gonna use it all come playoffs.. they're a complete team.
Our offense is either pick and roll, or Iso. We have other set plays to free up shooters but it's mainly based on Harden and Paul Nothing wrong with it to be honest. I think Harden does go overboard a bit when his 3's aren't falling. He has a habit of trying to shoot his way out of slumps which is frustrating
we are a very efficient ISO team...matter of fact, we’re historically great at it thanks to the brilliance of Harden and CP...also, I love watching defenders get killed on Harden and CP3 ISO Island one concern I have is this: Will Harden’s ppp in isolation situations and efficiency on off the dribble/contested/step back threes crater in the playoffs? If he maintains his regular season efficiency or something close to it then we’ll be fine.
