Now that the Pelicans have Jrue Holiday, i would think that they would move Vasquez. What would yall think if the Rockets targeted him?

    Just speculation guys.

They also drafted Pierre Jackson. So if we can pull off a 3 team trade sending Lin to Philly, Vasquez to Houston, and T-Rob plus a pick to New Orleans.

Could not be a worse backcourt partner with harden.

At PG we need someone who's a good shooter, good spot up shooter, plays off ball well, isn't ball dominant and is a good defender. Vazquez just doesn't fit next to harden.

who??? he's going to be a bust... Rockets should get Vasquez. He'll be the next Jeremy Lin. :D Excellent playmaking but forced to be a spot-up shooter. If he becomes one successfully then he can claim he's better than JLIN already. ;)

Anyway, I hope Rockets get Vasquez for Lin. That's definitely an "upgrade".

You might as well say, Rockets need not a PG but an SG like in the mold of Hamilton.

Yes we basically need a SG in a PG's body with harden running the offense.

But we need a competent playmaker next to harden cause he cant handle full point duties.

Jeremy Lin is worse and has a much bigger contract. Vasquez has improved his shooting and defense each year and has great size for a pg. The Rockets should jump at the opportunity to take him if they could get rid of Lin's contract in the process. If it doesn't work out he's a free agent and you let him walk.

Lin shot 40% from 3 after the All-Star Break.

Yeah, he is not great off the ball. With Harden you need someone who can play without the ball.

Lin at least is getting used to it.
