Any updates on Dwight? (UPDATE: Dwight to return on Wednesday in New Orleans)

Yeah, we definately need him. Even 50% Dwight will help us alot with rebounding and defense. Offense may take a bit of a hit though.

 

Didn't know where to put this but figured this would be good.

For anyone who's interested Netflix just added Dwight's in the moment documentary.. It's really good! Def recommended watching it if you haven't

 

Has it been four weeks yet? Ready to get Dwight back

 

I always assumed late March. That would put it right in the middle of that 6-8 week timeframe we were given before the game against Portland.

If I had to guess which game he'd return in, Minnesota seems like a good bet. It's near the end of March and it's at home against a weak opponent.

 

i don't care when he comes back, i just hope when he comes back, he can regain his form and be effective, that's it, DH did the procedure on Feb 9th, if it is strictly 8 weeks, then we would be expecting him back on April 6th, but he'd better come back at that time, cause otherwise, i dont see him being an important piece to us in the playoffer

 

As long as Dwight only plays PnR offense and focuses on defense and rebounding we will be fine, if he tries to come in and post up, it will kill the team.

I also hope he comes back 100% explosive, healthy and in-shape. He should come back and ease his way into the team, not be expected to immediately drop double-doubles in the first week. H&H BOYS IN THE STARTING LINEUP THEN THE HEADBAND BOYZ OFF THE BENCH?! Wheewww, when's the 2nd round of the playoffs start?

It depends, at times he can be unstoppable in the post (these days it's rare, but it happens). He should get two or three post touches in the first half to see if he's in a rhythm down there, it really opens up the offense if he's attracting attention in the post.

Even if he is on schedule we should just wait till April to bring him back. We are playing great basketball right now and hopefully that continues. But we need a healthy Dwight Howard 100% for the playoffs. We will no doubt be seeing a great team in the first round And that's where we will need him most.

 

He needs to be back in time to get in shape before the playoffs. So late March is about as long as it needs to be.

People that want to speak in absolutes don't know how the game works perhaps. Dwight should absolutely be still used in the post depending on the matchup.

After seeing D-Mo's defense last night, I think a 50% Dwight Howard would really help this team.

 

a 50% Dwight Howard brought us back into Earth....this man needs to be %95 at best. We have a what 2 year window on him? Get healthy Dwight.

Update : Dwight does miss Cannan a lot, they continue to see each other on Skype.
