Normally pink eye goes away in 7-10 days even without medical treatment.

Is he becoming the next "Mo Taylor"?

If you think someone sitting out because of pink eye is being a pansy then you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

i think people have played with "injuries" worse than a pink eye.

Pink eye is less an "injury" than it is highly contagious; Stro can't be around the team.

But it has been a week or more, easy. Maybe we're sitting him out while we include him in trade scenarios?

If Swift is Mo Taylor- then I hope Mr. Van Gundy gets more in trade than a dead Vin Baker contract and Moochie Norris who we had already expensively dumped out before...

Moochie should not be in the NBA and Vin Baker had nothing left

its not that is serious pink eye or anything, its not that its because he's a pansy, its because its contagious. which means even MORE players would have to sit out.

...but yeah, he is a softie. hope he gets that crap treated by tonight.

Didn't he have a bad scratch on his eye? on the cornea or something? And it got infected and caused these additional problems?

Swift is out with conjunctivitis. Viral conjunctivitis, or "pink eye", is not a serious problem per se but is highly contagious. He should not be around the team to pass it onto everybody else. Imaging what a disaster would that be if the whole team came down with "pink eye"! The nature couse for a "pink eye" is about 2-3 weeks.

I don't understand why so many people dislike stromile. he's putting up the same numbers he did coming off the bench in memphis. what did yall expect? him to put up amare numbers or even kenyon martin stats? Well it's kind of hard to do that coming off the bench. We're getting exactly what we got for from Swift. He's been playing like he has this season for his whole career, everyone should be happy he's not playing worst than he is.

Just because he doesn't live up to your expectations of what you want from him, means he is lazy, doesn't try his hardest. can't improve and should be traded? He's the type of PF that this team wanted for the past couple of season; An athletic player that can rebound, block shots, be aggressive and dunk everything near the goal. Give stro one or two seasons under the JVG system and then make the decision to give up on him.

To be honest there wasn't much interest in Taylor at the time and for good
reason... Taylor's huge contract and his decreased productivity along with his
drug insident not to mention that his attitude had become a cancer on the team
made Taylor a hard man to sell.

Swift on the other hand still holds some value...he has none of Taylor's
undesirable attributes and his contract is not horrendous like Taylor's was.

I agree we didn't get much in return but we didn't give very much either.

I'm suprised at how hard alot of people around here are being on Stro. The guy wasn't getting very many minutes at the beginning of the season. Granted he has been inconsistent but he has also shown flashes of great play. Need to give him more time to show what he can do.
