As the title states, any developers in here? I was wondering the cost to hire someone to create an app for me, since I have no idea how to or even where to start.
For an enterprise level project you'd get charged at least $90/hr. You can find a company for maybe... $500ish. Guru, eLance, oDesk, etc... are probably the cheapest.
I know from old threads there definitely are developers here. That said, something like www.elance.com might at least give you an idea of to how the process "could" work.
Yeah I love that car. Not that many made in the US so I'm glad to have one. One day I'll give the love it deserves when I get the time. lol
if you are looking for android, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php there's a ton of developers on that forum, some actually has apps on the market. You gotta ask around, I'm sure some of them will point you to the right directions.
What do you need advice on specifically? Do you have an idea and you want to hire someone to implement it? What type of functionality are you looking for (do you need the app to query a database on a server, etc...)? Programming for an android can be very easy and cheap (iphone too but less so since you need a mac to program on) so my advice would be to see if you can implement it yourself and save bucks.
Basically have an idea, but wouldn't even know where to start creating it. So looking to maybe hire someone to create it, if it's worth it I guess.
Sorry, but XDA is a crappy community IMO. If anything, they'll flame him for asking a simple question. Plus, there are a lot of shady people over there and I wouldn't want a Clutchfan to go through a bad experience Just my opinion, not trying to be rude to you or anything
