    A year and a half later, still doesn't have a bike, but is going to ride 145 miles per day. Weee!

    Here's the bike with the tent. I still need to get a backpack that would fit the tent and a few other items and I'll be squared away. Leaving in 7-10 days.

    Forreal, I'm really interested on how this works man. There's cyclist campsites where you can set up your tent and they provide an a/c outlet as well as toilet and showers?

    a trip like this would take at least 4 months.

    you may get 40 miles in on the first day.

    He just needs "a few other items" and some way to carry them, and a support crew, and an itinerary, and $$$, and 36 other things he hasn't thought of yet, and a few months of training.

    But outside of that, his plan is golden.

    When he pitches his tent and sleeps in it at some pit stop, he's got to pray that everybody in that immediate area has the soul of angel because that will prevent anything bad from happening to him.
