I know that MJax can reject any trade offer, and he can not be traded to the Rox for one year, but is it possible that for him to still arrive here through a 3 team trade? Technically if he is traded to another team, then traded here, wouldnt that be legal against the CBA? Or does that team have to keep him for 90 days also before they can trade him?

It's probably best to look elsewhere since we need immediate help. Jahidi White or one of the Cavs centers maybe. Or, if all else fails Gatlin for cheap.

Jackson will not be a Rocket, and probably never will be.

It's best to just come to that realization now than to hope for silly loopholes.

I believe it was stated earlier that, unlike the 90 day deal with regards to deals with other teams, that under no circumstances can Jackson be traded to the Rockets, even by way of every other team in the NBA, for a period of 1 year.

He still has to pass his physical. :)

    Give them hell MJ!

This is what we will be reading tomorrow or hearing.

Marc jackson has failed his physical aparently suffering from the rare disorder "Gary St Jean I do not want to play for you"
This is caused by teams holding players hostage the symptoms include:
    Late for practice
    disruptive in the locker room
    back talking of the coaches
expressing your anger to the media

This can spread and cause total chaos!

Only one known cure " Traded to a team he wants to go to"
    :p

    You are correct, sir.

    http://www.nbpa.com/cba/articleXI.html#section6

    (f) After exercising its Right of First Refusal as described in this Section 6, the ROFR Team may not trade the Restricted Free Agent for one (1) year, without the player’s consent. Even with the player’s consent, for one (1) year, neither the ROFR Team exercising its Right of First Refusal nor any other Team may trade the player to the Team whose Offer Sheet was matched.

I am hoping GSW negotiated a trade deal for MJ during this period, I think violating the CBA. It seems probable as they waited so long to make their decision--which only further delays when they can move MJ and further made him angry about staying put with GS and disrupting practices/rotations an extra 2 weeks. The funny thing is Forston and their rookie PF/C look good, and Damp and Foyle didn't get injured. It really made no sense at all for them to wait. They only reason I can think they waited so long is if they didn't have a deal nailed down (and it violates the CBA if they did), unless they are so wishy washily stupid they didn't know from the minute Marc J had another's team contract what they were going to do about it. But then again Ford produced the Pinto and Edsel, right?

Maybe the Warriors can get the TWolves punishment (in effect pushing up our future draft choices), and MJ get's sent to us. Time to dig for some Warrior dirt around the league. If a trade for MJ happens 90 days from today something smells really bad in No Cal.

    Hate List (ranked in order)
    Satan
    Bin Laden
    Fegan
    N-SYNC
    St. Jean

Since this is the official list, you can't possibly hate St. Jean as much as Fegan. Now if GS lures away Steve, Cuttino, and Eddie when they turn FA's, we'll see about bumping St. Jean upwards.:D

if they did work out a deal during the 15 days, what will this cause? Would this result in the Rockets getting Jackson?? Or will the Warriors just be fined?
