I recall saying the pelicans would not trade Anthony Davis for Kawai Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge in a thread two-three weeks ago and a few posters thought i was crazy saying the spurs win that deal.
Man, he murdered Draymond lol. I think Hield is going to be really really good and they will fire their coach by mid season or next summer. Looking good for that franchise. But can you imagine a Harden/Davis duo with MDA as coach? Wow. Dreaming is fun.
Hahaha, I remember some thread/post comparing DMo to Davis, get out of here w/ that fantasy. DMo couldn't produce like this in the D-league. As long as Davis avoids injuries he'll be set to be at the top.
I think I saw a poll they did with the GM's in the league and 80% picked him to be the player to build around. Sorry, I can't remember where I read that. His stats have been ridiculous these first 2 games but there have been some crazy first 2 games from a few players. (Kwahi, Westbrook, Harden) Let's see how it goes after a few more games.
Can we trade Corey Brewer and Sam Dekker fr Anthony Davis? I'm on the fence about this. We may be giving up too much value.
And they still lost both games. His floater looks good. He is so skilled for a big man. I think unless you have a lebron, westbrook, harden or someone with the ball in his hands all the time its hard to impact a team single handily.
Lol all it took was two games of recency bias before crowning a new "Best player in the NBA". Is that a new record on CF? Doubt it, but still. Lebum, bro.
Where are all the people saying a PFs need to shoot 3s, now? We've heard the Spurs problem in the playoffs is LMA in the Pick n Pop, and face-up, mid-range game....despite him crushing OKC in Game 1/2. And now we see Davis is even better at face-up midrange. Why do fans feel compelled to make such extreme claims like (midrange PFs are dinasaurs) just because Green and Love made it to the Finals the last two years. Clearly Popovich doesn't think so...he's went after two of them (LMA and Gasol), and the best ever just retired.
I'm a Knicks fan in addition to Rockets. No way Porz is nearly as good as Davis. I don't see any indication that he will eclipse Davis in a couple years. Davis fluidity is amazing. His offensive play is like a 7 foot Melo on steroids with a better first step and finishing ability . I would say he is the best in the league. I thought so last year as well.
That NO team other than him is hot trash. No wonder he gets injured because he literally has to do everything for that team to even have a chance. Do not feel sorry for them when he leaves
No. Everything is just going through him. Problem is he's no PG. Eff wise, seems to be the great David of his year 3. But we know that basketball is a team game.
