These mass shooting will just keep on happening more and more often until a day when vast majority people in this country decide that gun rights are not something sacred you must have. Only then will common sense laws be passed, but I am afraid I most likely won't see this in my lifetime, I hope the next generation will see this during their life, maybe after GOP become obsolete in the future due to demographics.
You don't get it - they will live in squalor because of capitalism and the free market. No way to build up wealth or technical knowledge other than the 1 in million exception, just a constant battle for survival. When that's the case for most of the 20 million illegals already in the US... in addition to the poor struggling, how can you endlessly accommodate people who don't have vocations and who will be once again unemployed in 5-10 years with automation? This isn't an anti-Mexican sentiment, this is anti-illegal sentiment. You need legal immigrants, higher quota's etc... but do you that you need a system. A system can only work for those it accounts, period. No intelligent democrat has ever disagreed.
Mass shootings as American as McDonalds, blue jeans, and pick-up trucks. Foolish to try to fight against something that is the definition of who we are. One of the great things about America is that when you've had enough and want to go down in spectacular fashion, you have the god-given ability to buy some guns and take a bunch of people with ya! That's should be the NRA's new ad campaign.
I got it correct. You cant buy an extended magazine and you cant bring one in from outside the state. The laws were in place to stop this and they didnt work.
Please tweet your favorite "celebrity" to send some of their millions to anti NRA legislation... the NRA is just not that rich. Their Florida contributions to politicians never tops 3 million. But functionless celebrities worth hundreds of millions of dollars are too selfish to donate any of their money to the cause and would rather complain about it like they are helpless. You can take charge... if you really wanted to. Threaten to boycott them if they don't.
Speaking of celebrities... btw, while getting celebrities and other to donate more, I also support having people speak out and more important use their votes to remove pro-nra politicians and replace with elected officials that will do something to reduce gun crime.
The last thing we need are federal troops conducting police operations. That isn’t our function. We train to fight and win wars, not uphold laws.
This is such a perfect response to that idiot. Coulter just seems to have a knack for being an unlikable b****.
Politics = money Not smarmy celebs If you've got hundreds of millions, put em to use Mental health has to be a lot stricter because this guy would have been able to purchase handguns with gun control, and there are still too many places on the internet to buy mods It's clearly a multi layered approach that isn't taking off from any direction
Gun control (or rather gun sanity) would work if done nationally. It works nearly everywhere else. The mentally ill aren't buying their guns illegally on the black market. And yes, we need to remove mental illness as a stigma and do more to get people help. But.... Do you leave our money on the table in our front yard and argue that we need to address stealing? No, you keep your money safe so you don't have to worry about thieves. By the same token, don't make it so easy for the mentally ill to get a gun. It's time we have a gun license program that is enforced and requires a psychological evaluation. And if you sell a gun to someone without a license, you should face stiff and harsh penalties.
Duh. Now campaign for your favorite celebrity to donate millions to the political side. Conservatives dont have as much money but they spend much more of it on supporting the NRA than liberals. They tend to be blue collar. Boycott the liberals worth hundreds of millions who say thoughts and prayers but donate zilch. Be useful.
