Andrew Bynum - not interested in Magic, could be interested in Houston in 2013?

Andrew Bynum at center with young pieces we have plus what we will pick up in the future... This is who we should be trading for.

Not only that, why not give up more of the Forwards we have?

If that's the case, the Lakers may just give him an extension since they would be without a center. That's what I'm afraid of.

I love how people say this. Why would LA trade him unless it is for Howard?

LA isn't looking for young players and draft picks to stock up on, they are trying to win a title.

Funny how clutchfans' opinion of Bynum has changed in a matter of minutes.

I agree . I would hate to facilitate a trade that would make the lakers such a dominant force.

He also has Cleveland on his short list. Houston and Cleveland, that should raise a red flag.

    Why not?

Superstars may not want to come here, rather teaming up with other superstar buddies to get that easy ring. But Houston is actually the ideal spot for budding superstars(who already have a ring) yearning to break free from the shadows of 30+ FGA/game has-been superstars. That is actually an advantage to the whole "mediocrity" thing- as long as you maintain flexibility(and boy have we done that), you are always 1 superstar away from contention, all you need is for that 1 person to believe.

Andrew Bynum, currently, is no superstar. But he believes. What better stage than here(with our history of big men) to lead a young team(who have remained competitive to a fault) and prove himself?

    Don't like him.

    Injury prone and bad attitude.

Not a guy you can build a championship contender around IMO.

I would rather trade for him now. I trust in Morey's ability to trade for Bynum and get an extension done more than I trust him to give a better free agency sales pitch than Mark Cuban.

Charles -"Bynum is the best big man in the game right now!"-btw has Dwight ever pulled down 30 boards, playing full out.-I think Bynum got 30 rebounds not even trying...
Bynum has progressed ten fold and he's YOUNG, regardless of his knees...Dwight is unstoppable, but I've said we are getting Bynum for a while.

With Bynum and Kyrie Irving, they would likely have two guys who are in the top 5 at their positions (assuming Irving continues to get better). I'm not sure that's such a bad thing.

Kyrie Irving is going to be pretty good player in the league. I don't see why heading to Cleveland would raise a red flag.
