Coming from a guy that watches raptors almost as much as Rockets. NO and big frucking no. The guy is the exact opposite of what the team represent. He is super lazy on defence, doesnt move his feet, misses defensive rotations all the time, and just overall seems like he doesn't give a shet about anything. His offensive skills though is probably amongst the best because he is a good shooter, pretty quick for a seven footer. But all he does is stay outside and shoot jumpers, occasionally driving in, but can't or won't try to grab a rebound to save his dam life. Raptors can keep him and keep him forever. I'm still pissed they drafted him instead of LA....
Even though he's had the reputation of being a soft euro chucker, I would take him in heartbeat at the right price, and a contract that can be moved easily as a future trade piece. He's no longterm answer at the 5 but he does have value. Maybe at mid-level price, Id take him for depth.
Guys, he's not even really a PF. He's closer to a 3 than a 4. And he can't really guard either position.
Personally, I love this guy but only because of how upfront he is about being somewhat annoyed with his height. Dude just wants to jack up threes and be left alone. I ****ing love it.
