The whole "Andre Drummond's work ethic sucks and doesn't care" seems to be looking pretty stupid right about now.
drummond surprised many and had a very good season as a rookie... if this work ethic continues and he responds well to hakeems teachings, than watch out... his FT% is HORRRRRID, but he can still be dominate...
I agree. I was going to say the same thing. I think he will be the best center in three or four years. He will easily surpass Dwight Howard as the best center in the NBA, by far.
I think he can incorporate some moves. He has great agility, balance, and strength. His movement is also fluid not mechanical like Dwight. I really hope he becomes a superstar Center. There are too few in this league. We only have Dwight and that just sucks.... I want to see a dominant Center again.
Wow, I love this kids game, and no hes working with the greatest? Drummond was already on his way to being the future best Center in the league, now its a given. I hate we couldnt draft him, but oh well.
It comes from people have not seen the guy play, or simply regurgitate what one particular critic said about a player that they may not like or be on good terms with. Widely considered to be a possible bust, he actually was one of the more promising and effective rookies in this year's class. No one really showed more potential, outside of maybe Davis and Lilliard. You also have to remember that center does have a little adjustment period to it, especially for underclassmen.
Of course it won't help anyone, but among the top four players he worked with (Lebron, Kobe, Melo, and Dwight), three of them have credited the Dream with helping their offensive game and it has shown in their play throughout the season. Don't know about other minor players though.
Drummond, Lillard, Barnes looks promising. Anthony Davis will probably out the league next 3 years. He walks like greg oden down the court.
