LOL, I doubt it, Kojirou. The whole region is a freaking basket case. Their entire culture is steeped in ultraviolence. They do not have the civil societies necessary to create stable, democratic states. We learned this in Iraq. I saw it up close and personal. Our best course at this point is to sit back and let them fight it out, and keep an eye out for anyone who wants to venture outside the region with their ideology. Beat the crap out of them when necessary but otherwise keep them at arm's length. We really need to avoid further entanglement in the region, nothing good will come of it. And to that end we really need to take the reigns off of industry and go balls to the wall developing our domestic energy resources. We have the capacity to be fully self-sufficient if the govt will just get out of the way. Once that capacity is unleashed we can safely tell the Arabs to go f^k themselves and have at each other to their heart's content.
