After clearing T Rob out for the Greek kid, who I believe is left-handed, and 2 2nd rounders (pretty solid since TJ and DM each were more promising than T Rob last year), and with rumors about Josh Smith abounding . . . the Rockets are loading up on lefties. Maybe there is something to the idea of getting Goran back! Current Lefties: Harden Terrence Donatas Greek kid (who sounds like he is going to be in the mix to replace Delfino / Garcia) That's 4 potentially key players who are left-handed. Morey loved (loves?) Bosh and I'm pretty sure preferred Dragic as a player and he would have returned without the player option that PHX offered him.
working married kids etc but still living and dying with our boys. whom i've noticed are increasingly likely to be lefties! inspired to return by this "J.R." character that's been all over the board tonight (joking, didn't know what all these comments meant til I saw who started all the updates). carry on.
pre-'99 it was called clutch city (and it was possible to actually keep up with all of the action - not that I'm complaining)
Well its always cool (for me atleast) to see a 99er who doesn't post often. Welcome to the new (and probably worse thanks to LOFs and LOHs haha) ClutchFans!
Might sound dumb, but there could actually be something to this. And Morey is more than likely aware of it. In sports, lefties have an advantage over righties. Because the majority are right handed, opponents will always have more experience guarding or scoring against righties. Opponents' muscle memory and habits are also tuned for righties. Also lefties tend to be more ambidextrous and therefore, unpredictable on the drive. (methinks)
